PASTOR4PASTOR is an innovative, strategic ministry that helps fulfill the Great Commission:

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”" (Matthew 28:18-20, NIV)

Any one of the 500 Pastors and Pastor’s Wives in 2008 could describe instantly the difference that the Pastor 4 Pastor Movement has had in his life, in his wife’s life, in the life of their church, and in the growth of the Kingdom of God around the world.  In 2007 deliberate steps were taken to facilitate local church pastors in the United States in personally and strategically fulfilling God’s desires to “…go and make disciples of all nations,” thus catalyzing a world-wide movement in which cultures are being transformed and lives are being touched that were previously thought to be beyond easy reach of the Gospel.  Because pastors and pastors’ wives in the United States are mentoring, sharing resources, and befriending pastors in developing countries, the results speak for themselves: needy children are being reached and helped physically in orphanages in deprived parts of the world, and through connections with these local church pastors in developing countries, God’s Kingdom is expanding into remote, hard-to-reach areas of the globe.  The power of the Gospel has had its expected effect on lives, transforming people and causing entire governments to be overhauled by the grace of God.

Through Hearts of Love a public and private forum on the internet was established in June, 2006. This enabled pastors in the United States to “…go…” without leaving their local church because the forum provided easy and consistent communication with pastors in developing countries.  Because a mentoring/friendship relationship through email, and in some cases, internet phone service or instant messaging was established between pastors and pastor’s wives in the United States with pastors and pastor’s wives in a developing country, strong friendships were being formed because of consistent communication.  Coaching from pastors and pastors’ wives in the United States about challenges they were facing personally, challenges in their family, challenges at work, challenges in their church life, and challenges in outreach ministries including a heart for “…the widows and the orphans…” (James 1:27) were a constant theme.

The Pastor’s and Pastor’s Wife Forum is a high-traffic, safe place for pastors and pastor’s wives to dialogue about vital, strategic challenges and concerns.  Free resources that can be downloaded instantly are available to assist pastors in what they are currently facing personally, as a family, in the church, or in outreach; with a view toward preparing and coaching God’s leaders in taking their personal walk, their family life, and their ministry to the next level.  Even if a topic is not specifically addressed on the Pastor’s and Pastor’s Wife Forum, a quick email to the Administrator of the Forum will result in a blog request triggering a plethora of resources and internet links to available help.  The Forum is extremely “user-friendly” with topics that reflect these God-given priorities.

Because regular communication consistently takes place, a cross-pollination of ideas has resulted in sharing prayer requests, resources, knowledge, and motivation in the who, what, when, where, how and why of personal growth, family growth, and pastoral ministry.  In this way, pastors around the world are encouraged and strengthened to “…keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at bringing others to Christ. Complete the ministry God has given you." (2 Timothy 4:5, NLT)

The benefit to the pastors and pastors’ wives in the United States has been inestimable.  The free resources on the forum have encouraged, trained and motivated pastors on both sides of the ocean, and because pastors are following the words of Jesus “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35), God has multiplied the efforts of the church in the United States in ways beyond all they could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Additionally, pastors and pastor’s wives in developing countries were invited in 2008 to share their ministries with churches in the United States not only through the internet but in-person, thus expanding the vision of the local church in the United States.  In turn, this generated mission teams from churches in the United States aiding the churches overseas in not only physical ways, but also in outreach events.  The believers who have served overseas have returned with fresh vision and a desire to reach their sphere of influence as never before.  Because the pastors and pastor’s wives have developed a loving relationship, orphans in developing countries are finding the physical help they need, the churches have begun loving other churches, sharing more and more resources and strategically and significantly reaching more people, resulting in greater praise to God because the church on earth is reflecting what God desires in adding more voices to the “hallelujah chorus” in heaven:

"And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were killed, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And you have caused them to become God’s kingdom and his priests. And they will reign on the earth.” Then I looked again, and I heard the singing of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus: “The Lamb is worthy—the Lamb who was killed. He is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.” And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They also sang: “Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.” And the four living beings said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped God and the Lamb." (Revelation 5:9-14, NLT)

The beauty of the Pastor 4 Pastor and Pastor Wife 4 Pastor Wife ministry is that any pastor – no matter where he lives or the size of his church – can now have a worldwide impact through the internet without leaving his present ministry.  Through the establishment of a mutually encouraging relationship, a healthy pastor and wife are now able to reach out to the orphans in their country.  In order to receive the computer and internet access, the couple will establish an outreach into the orphanage, which will assist in bringing the orphans to the US to receive the medical care they need at the Bethlehem Camp in Florida.  The children can then be adopted, or be in a healthier state when they return to their respective country.  Even items we take for granted like enough food to eat and clothes that fit will be a blessing and help to these children!
